01 Retention — key metrics

Filtered by client, position & name above

New starts — workers whose recorded employment start date falls in the current month. Drop-offs — workers who had hours last month but zero this month; this is a point-in-time count and will revise as future months fill in. Churn rate — trailing 3-month average of monthly drop-offs divided by the prior month's headcount. At-risk — workers with a trailing 3-month average ≥ 120 h/month but ≤ 40 h booked in the coming month; click the tile to jump to the detail list.

02 New starts vs drop-offs

Bars show monthly movement, line shows churn rate %

Green bars = workers appearing for the first time in a month (employment start date in that month). Red bars = workers who had hours in the prior month but none in this one. The line shows monthly churn rate: drop-offs ÷ prior month's headcount. Only past and current months are shown — forward months are excluded as starts and drops are not yet reliably recorded for future dates.

03 Position flow — headcount, new & churn

Click a row to expand per-client breakdown

New starts per month = workers whose employment start falls in the trailing 3-month window and are assigned to this position. Drops per month = workers active in a trailing month who have no hours in any later month (i.e., have since left). Churn rate = drops ÷ prior headcount, averaged across the trailing 3 months. Numbers reflect the filtered worker set. Click any row to see a breakdown by client.

04 At-risk dropoffs

Trailing 3mo avg ≥ 120h AND next-month committed ≤ 40h

Workers who have been consistently active (trailing 3-month average ≥ 120 h, roughly a standard swing cycle) but whose roster shows ≤ 40 h committed in the coming month. Forward hours include only confirmed and mobilising bookings. Drop size is trailing average minus next month's hours — the larger this is, the sharper the expected fall in utilisation. Workers are sorted by drop size descending.

05 Cohort survival

What % of each month's new starters are still active at +1, +2 … months

Each row is a cohort of workers who started in a given month (employment start date falls in that month). Columns show what share of that cohort is still active — hours > 0 — at each subsequent month. A worker's hours are treated as zero in months where they have no roster entry. Cohorts with fewer than 3 months of follow-up are included but the later columns are marked as not yet available (—). Only cohorts with start dates within the reporting window are shown.

06 Employee shutdown matrix

Tick = worked, red cross = declined/rejected, blank = no assignment outcome

Matrix of filtered employees against known shutdowns. A green tick means the employee worked that shutdown. A red cross means they declined/rejected/withdrew from a request. Blank means no worked or decline/reject record for that employee/shutdown pairing.
