01 Fatigue rule summary

Dashboard flags the most restrictive applicable client rule. Evidence and approvals are managed outside this dashboard.

Fatigue exposure is calculated from roster-derived worker metrics including rolling 21-day hours, current-month hours, consecutive shifts, consecutive day shifts, consecutive night shifts and days on site. Status is shown as breach, stand-down required, approval required or watch.

Client Core fatigue rules monitored Dashboard action
Fortescue Extended roster exposure; work beyond 14 continuous hours requires client authorisation; roster changes may trigger RCAT/FAID controls. Flags extended consecutive runs as watch or approval required.
Rio Tinto 243 h FIFO shutdown monthly limit; 14 consecutive FIFO shifts; standard 7 consecutive FIFO night shifts; up to 10 nights only under exception controls. Flags monthly hour breaches, excessive consecutive shifts, night-shift approvals and night-shift breaches.
BHP WAIO 230 h over 21 consecutive days; 14 consecutive FIFO shifts; 7 consecutive FIFO night shifts; minimum rest and sleep-opportunity controls sit outside current roster-only metrics. Flags 21-day hour breaches, excessive consecutive shifts and night-shift limits.
Roy Hill / Hancock 21 consecutive days maximum on site; mandatory stand-down after 14 consecutive day shifts; 24 h stand-down after 10 consecutive night shifts. Flags day-shift stand-downs, night-shift stand-downs and site-duration breaches.

02 Fatigue compliance — key metrics

Filtered by client, position & name above

In breach — workers exceeding a hard client fatigue rule. Approaching limit — workers within warning range of a client threshold. Action required — workers requiring stand-down or approval outside this dashboard before continuing under the applicable client rule.

03 Fatigue flags by discipline

Count of flagged workers per discipline group

Quick breakdown of the workers flagged in the compliance table below, grouped by recorded discipline. Use this to identify which trade groups carry the highest fatigue exposure before drilling into the individual-level table. Counts update with the filter selections above.

04 Fatigue compliance — worker actions

Flagged workers only. Uses parser-derived fatigueMetrics, not monthly-hour estimates.

Each worker is assessed against the relevant client rule based on the current client and roster-derived fatigue metrics. The table shows the trigger and required operational action. Approval documents, evidence registers and formal risk assessments are managed outside this dashboard.

Client rules are summarised above. The dashboard is a workforce planning control, not the approval/evidence register.
